RESIDENCIES
are emerging mission learning experiences ministry planters, and sabbatical and continuing education clergy wanting hands on experience in emerging church and mission.
Residencies are held in Seattle, WA or Portland, Oregon (generative mission 'lab' cities noted for their postmodern, post Christian, and post Secular culture). Residencies are available for a minimum of 7 days (including 1 Sunday) and a maximum of 14 days.
Residencies are for Episcopal/Anglican priests, clergy and lay leaders from TEC, ACC and Anglican Communion churches.
Residencies are funded by the sending diocese, parish or the resident. The cost of residencies range from $1,500 to $3,500 (depending on duration). Group rates are also available. Simple housing in a 'hermitage' room is included for solo residents. Moderate cost housing options will be recommended for groups. The costs for travel, food and misc expenses are also the responsibility of the sending diocese, parish or resident.
Residencies are tailored to the person or groups coming.
Seminarian Emmersions
Seminarian Emmersions (in Portland or Seattle) are offered as a 3 credit course from the sending seminary. Included is a course syllabus, and reading list, and required books. If you are a seminarian or seminary official interested, please contact us
